Police Report

Sgt Park stated that at present we are sitting at amber this week, up until then we had been in the green band. Things at present as far as the police report goes, although there has been a spate of Industrial break ins at the moment. In general there are no major issues.

AOCCB

The Chair suggested a “Meet the Candidates” night which was put to the vote as a great idea. Where we can meet our Councillors and any new Councillors who may be up for election in May. Dates and times to be arranged.

Nanette Keenan (CLD) came to discuss with us whether we may be able to apply for funding for our Community Roadshow. Nanette will get in touch with Tom Gaffney regarding this.

Cllr T Lunny said that at the budget meeting money had been granted for a CCTV at the John St Bridge (known locally as the white bridge) on the Muirhouse side.

It was discussed regarding the incidents where tenants found used needles in their gardens. Appropriate agencies have been informed. Also the Wishaw Press covered the story.

Update on all ongoing and closed issues brought forward by tenants, regarding repairs etc.

The Chair closed the meeting.

Next meeting is on Tues 27th March 2012.
