A Wishaw petrol station was ram-raided and a quantity of cigarettes stolen on 17th January.

The BP Garage on Overtown's Main Street was ram raided on Tuesday 17th January at around 12.55am. A white pick up van parked within the forecourt and then rammed the doorway. Two men left the vehicle and began loading it up with items from the shop. The men were described as being around 5'08" tall, of average build and wearing black hooded tops.

Around 1.50am the same night the motor vehicle was found by police on Glencleland Road, Wishaw. It was locked and secured. Police arranged to have the vehicle uplifted and removed.
