All primary routes have been treated as of yesterday evening. Abandoned vehicles, however, meant the crews had some difficulty reaching some secondary routes. As a result, we have today concentrated on treating secondary routes along with some minor roads and on ensuring grit bins for public use are filled.

More snow is forecast for this evening and overnight, so action will be targeted at the primary roads network from 4.30 this afternoon, after which we will be patrolling overnight to monitor conditions and treat again where necessary.

Action for tomorrow morning will depend on this evening's weather update, and more information will be provided as soon as possible.
