Increase the Wedge would like to proudly announce the launch of www.wishaw.co.uk, the first of a series of local community based websites promoting the Lanarkshire community and economy.In total there are over 100 Lanarkshire sites including www.eastkilbride.co.ukwww.coatbridge.co.uk and many more. Over the coming weeks each of these sites will be launched.
It was important however to make sure the launch of the Wishaw site was perfect and in many ways is the flagship site to follow. We are especially proud of our save the high street initiative where we will give local retailers the exposure required to reach a wider market to help their businesses succeed, there is nothing like this out there at the moment.
We were proud to be joined by Motherwell and Wishaw MP Frank Roy and Motherwell player Paul Quinn, wishaws own local talent. We would like to extend our thanks to both Frank and Paul for taking time out of their busy schedule to join us.
The new website and network has something for everyone and boasts an existing audience of 100,000 unique visits per month and it is our aim to grow this repeat audience to 250,000 visits per month in the next 3-6 months. As you will agree this is quite and audience for exposure, especially with daily updates.
