Wishaw will switch on their Christmas lights this week.

The town centre's Christmas lights display will be switched on on Thursday 24th November at 3.30pm.

There will be loads of entertainment, including a dance display by Blok Dance Troup and performances from The Mend and Paulo Martini. There will also be a very special guest, who will allegedly be wearing a red suit and a fetching white beard...

Crowds will be gathering outside Wishaw Library on Kenilworth Avenue. It can only be hoped that the never-ending roadworks will not cause too much disruption to the event.
