Two Lanarkshire ladies are holding a Charity Zumbathon at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Centre tomorrow.
Gillian Wightman and Lorraine McKechnie are holding the event to raise much-needed funds for Les Hoey's Children with Life Threatening Illnesses.
Les Hoey's Children with Life Threatening Illnesses helps children with cancer and life threatening illnesses as they are going through and after treatment. It takes kids to concerts, theatres, shows, day trips outings, football matches, dining out and also holds an annual christmas party for the kids and their families.
The event takes place on Saturday 19th November, at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility between 1pm - 4pm.
This is 3 hour zumba event, join in as little or as much as you like and bring your friends to support this great cause. Lorraine says "Bring a survival pack containing a towel, loads of water, maybe a bite to eat like a banana (I am taking my Haribos!), change of top in case you need it and, most importantly, a loud singing/whooping voice!"
Tickets are £10.00 and can be paid on the door. A raffle will be held at the event with some great prizes, like VIP tour for 4 round Celtic Park, florist Vouchers, cinema vouchers and Pizza Hut vouchers, to fuel up after you've zumba-d away all day! A professional photographer will be on hand to capture some all action shots! There will also be a jewellery stall for you to get some Christmas presents bought!
Head along to Ravenscraig tomorrow to take part in an awesome fun fitness day. A little bird says there may even be some surprise guests making an appearance...
