Calling all River City fans! Get down to Hamilton's Regent Centre this Sunday evening to join in with a River City star's fundraising event.
“River City Deep Mountain High” is a fundraising event organised by John Comerford, aka River City's popular hairdresser Jack, in aid of Yorkhill Children’s Hospital. John will be taking part in a sponsored walk to Everest base camp.
Tickets cost £10 for adults (children under 12 go free) and can be purchased from the Regent Centre.
Each ticketholder will receive a free drink and food provided by the excellent Avanti Restaurant and Get Stuffed Catering. Compering the event will be Real Radio's Steve McKenna and Barry from Cheeze Choonz will be on hand to keep the crowd entertained.
Nicola Innes Hair & Beauty will be helping out with the fashion show, as will Lanarkshire's best boutique Rodeo Drive. Sarah, the owner of Rodeo Drive, will be showcasing her gorgeous designs on the catwalk, and items will be available to buy. This is the perfect chance to grab yourself a beautiful party dress. River City cast members will be taking part in the fashion show, so if you're a fan of Shieldinch there is no better chance to meet your favourite stars up close and personal. R Factor winners will be on hand to provide entertainment and show off their talent, supported by dancers from Fame Academy. The icing on the cake is cupcakes and other treats provided by Cake Cetera.
To keep the kids entertained will be face painters, a magician, a kids disco and various arts and crafts activities.
The event takes place on Sunday 6th November 2011 from 6.00pm until 10.00pm
